Lily Allen suffers miscarriage
Friday, 18th January 2008Pop princess Lily Allen is "distraught" after suffering a miscarriage.
The heartbroken 22-year-old singer and boyfriend Ed Simons, 37, were being consoled by friends and family after losing their first child last night.
Allen and Simons, one of dance duo The Chemical Brothers, had been dating for just a few months when they announced the pregnancy in December.
The couple had just returned from a romantic new year getaway in the Maldives when the tragedy struck.
